The 5.10 update happened automatically and I'm just getting around to charging my watch. I now notice that I can actually use it while charging it. Previous versions would not allow me to do this as it would just show a large charging screen. Did anyone else watch do this previous to 5.10?
When you charge the device via Computer, then default it switches the big screen on. In the settings i can change the connection type. Then with a pc it is just charging.
I've not tried with 5.10, but before, if in settings>system you changed the USB Mode to Garmin, you could "charge on the go". The USB mode setting is still there on 5.10.
Also, if you charge from a power only USB source (eg. a wall outlet or a powerbank), then you could always use it (under both 5.10 and earlier firmware versions).
