How can this happen, release of 5.10 was on 8th of August, it is 14th and still nothing, Don?t we pay all the same??!!! I would understand a couple of days, but one week??
There are multiple ways to get the update, either manually or with the web updater or through Express or waiting for the update to roll out to you via Connect. You paid for a physical watch, Garmin can release the updates however they please.
Not exactly how you say. There are two ways; one manual through the link and the others automatic through Express or connect, those are the ones that I expect. Of course that Garmin releases the update the way they want, like I can be satisfied or not the way they do it. In this case I am not.
I hadn't seen anything via Connect, but I just plugged into the PC and Express said there was an update. I'm in Australia and purchased the device 4 days ago.
A phased fw rollout is common practice with large userbases, so if there's a problem reported from the early upgraders in the field, they can pull the plug on the rollout before it affects everyone.
