Notifications during activity

Hi all, So i get notifications pop up in real time on the watch when using an app for cycling or running etc but how do i access the ones that are already there to clear or read when using an app. With my F3HR i used to be able to check for ones that i might have missed when working out but i can't seem to do that on the F5.

Am i missing something?

You should have the Notification Widget enabled, and then from the watch face going either up or down you will eventually see it along with the current notifications

i do but can't do it when using a workout app?

You can access the widgets by long pressing the Down button. Pressing the Start button will take you back to the activity (which will have been continuing to run in the background).

So there is no way to just read the incoming notification? I would always have to get out of the activity and scroll for the widget? They should allow to just read it when its show, maybe a long press of the upper right button, short press for start and stopping the activity, long press to show the message.

No, you don't have to leave the activity. Just long press the Down button and you can access the widget loop, while the activity continues in the background. When you are done with the notifications, just press the back button, and the screen will revert to the activity. The activity will have been tracking your HR, distance, etc all along.

And you can access the full text directly while it is displayed by pressing the down button. I think the default timeout for the notifications to be displayed is 30 seconds, but you can customize this.
