Fenix 5x at the dentist

I'm off to the tooth doctor for a check up. I'm interested in monitoring my hr during the check up and hygienist session. Anyone else done this?

I tried that :-) I do it when I get measured at docs and that - see if it has parity!

No, but interesting results when undertaking a session of horizontal jogging. Hard to fake anything. :rolleyes:

I actually did this last week (dentist that is). I just checked the HR widget afterwards. HR up to the level of a brisk walk.

If you're getting a tooth fixed you should see a spike in HR just after injection of the nerve block. Typically has a small amount of epinephrine to induce local vasoconstriction and reduce bleeding at the site.
I always get flushed and a few flutters.
