    Agreed, much better than before.

Now if the watch would just use the lowest waking HR number for RHR I'd be set.

I'd guess that the reason they don't implement this, is that your lowest waking HR number would not be your RHR.
    • Added support for ?Flashlight?. This will be accessible from the System Hotkeys and the Controls menu.

What is this? Related to the VIRB device?
  • All day stress monitoring still nothing? Any time estimates?

Sad that we will probably see the Fenix 6 series before Garmin brings this feature to the 5X.

I'd guess that the reason they don't implement this, is that your lowest waking HR number would not be your RHR.

If I leave the HR on overnight the watch reports my RHR at 45-50, sometimes increasing the number during the day. If I leave HR off overnight and turn it on in the morning so it catches my lowest waking HR, then it's usually in the 38-40 range. Maybe low 40's if I did a really hard workout that day.
I'd be happy with an option to select if I wanted to use sleeping or waking HR for RHR. Using sleeping HR, for me at least, would completely mess up my training zones as I go by HR reserve.

What is this? Related to the VIRB device?

It's an option you can add to the quick settings menu; it appears to turn the screen white and the backlight all the way up.
  • BUG: I have been experiencing this over the past few firmware versions: at random during the day, the activity tracker would stop counting steps/measuring distance.

This has been happening at least once a day for the past 2 weeks. The only way to fix this is to restart the watch.

Anyone else with the same issue?

In addition to GPS_Maniak's map drawing error, I too have found one persistent across all maps. On panning/ zooming, I get an unusual vertical line slightly to the right of the crosshairs.

    Yes. in 5.10 also.
