Time zone change in Garmin watchfaces?

Hello all, many (all?) of the Garmin watch faces allow for a data field with a second timezone. As of now all I can get is UTC. Now UTC is not very useful for me - I would prefer another timezone, which is more relevant. How do I select that other timezone?

It's almost always done via GC Mobile; go to Garmin Devices, select your watch, then Connect IQ Apps. You can then sub-select Watch Faces. Go to the one you want, click on Settings, and change from UTC to whatever time zone you want for the second zone.

Thank you for the reply. I have not seen the built in watchfaces under the connect IQ apps. Can they somehow be made visible? The ones I have installed myself I can adjust - but I would like to adjust the default ones.

You can?t change the stock Garmin watch faces. You need to use a custom watch face

I thought so too. Disappointing. It would be so cool to have a proper second time zone: UTC is probably not really useful for the majority of the users - so why not offer a proper second time zone? Anyway, I will stick with the stock watchfaces (less power use) and will not have a second time zone...

Yes it is a shame. You might want to try SC8 if you want a less battery consuming watch face with a customised time zone. You want to choose one with very little animation

If you're looking for a digital watch face with a second time zone then check out my Big Digital watch face. I'll also be modifying my UTC Titanium analog watch face soon to support different a configurable time zone too.
