New HRM-RUN4 No RD stats

Hey Guys,
Just got a ext hrm (HRM-RUN4) for my fenix 5. So far no ANT+ dropouts and has worked great for HR. The issue I am having is related to the running dynamic stats not working or giving me any info. I have a f5 with 4.21 beta and the SW on the HRM is 3.40. I have the HRM paired and connected, and once i go to the run activity it adds to data field pages for the RD stats but they always either show 0 or - depending on the field.

Called support today and started a ticket but they just asked me to remove the HRM and repair it. I am not going for a run today so I will see if that fixed tomorrow but wanted to see if anyone else had any ideas.

garmin support said to get it swapped out, but im just going to return it to amazon since its new and go with the hrm-tri instead. hope it works out better. disregard my questions.

Are you sure you were not wearing the HRM-Run upside down? If you are confident that you were not, then the HRM-Run has to be broken.

I had the same problem : HR data but no run dynamics at all.
I sent the belt to Garmin and received a new one about 10 days later.
And now, it's working : both data and no drops.
