lap swims don't help Training Status at all?

I got the chest strap and seems like others having the same problem. It gives you zero credit for lap swims even if it records HR and distance entire workout?

Same for open water swims (with HRM-tri). It calculates a TE but for some reason it doesn't enter the training status calculation/
