Im having trouble trying to load Birdseye maps on garmin fenix5 x. Ive paid my subscription, registered my watch, watch appears in Basecamp library. When i go through the where's my subscription it says the device is not recognized. Tried everything been in touch with websales but no go.
I had the same problem and got it sorted out. Try going to myGarmin and Register the 5x. That may fix your problem.
Note that Garmin has multiple places where you have to register the devices. One is Garmin Connect. Another is myGarmin. It's the myGarmin registration that is needed for the maps. To make it even more confusing, your device may show up as a registered device in myGarmin even though it is not registered. So even if it shows up when you view your registered products in myGarmin, register it again. You do NOT need to remove it from myGarmin first. Just register it again.
