What is eating my battery power - after updating to 4.16

Hello all, i was getting about 0.5% battery drop per hour, if no GPS etc. was running with 4.10
Now the 5x (after a full charge) has used up 2.5% in one hour with exactly same apps, no GPS etc. How do I find out what is using up the battery? Is it the beta firmware that is not optimized? Or is it something else? How do I find out?
  • Reboot your watch and wait to see if it'll continue to consume so much.
Sometimes battery meter is not calibrated fine and can estimate it wrongly giving wrong battery status. Battery status in such devices is a good estimate made by charge IC, not an exact measure.

Thank you for the very prompt reply. Will do!

i had the same issue. the i changed the connectiq watch face with a stock one and now the battery draining is the same as before
  • Thank you all: I am (and was) using a stock watch face when I had the high battery use and also now and my battery use slowed down. Since a reboot I am using about 0.4% per hour... It seems sis651 was right! Thank you!
