So today I used the Mtb cycling built in app, but later I noticed that i don't have it anymore. I cannot add it as it is not in the apps list. I can't find it through garmin connect either. Does anyone know what the issue could be here? Thank you!
Update: I noticed that there were a lot of missing activity types, like indoor rowing, swimrun or open water. I restored my fenix 5 to the factory defaults and all the activities re-appeared in the list. It's a bit strange, I think it has something to do with the fact that I installed and removed the dwmap app multiple times and the sync with the PC somehow caused this. Just a hunch. I'll keep you posted.
I found the same thing with dwmap - missing activity type that couldn't be reinstalled through Garmin Connect. Likewise a factory reset solved the problem.
This all is indeed strange. dwMap doesn't change anything already on the watch, in fact it's supposed to be walled-off from touching anything like that. It has no awareness of the other activity apps on the watch. Hopefully this is a firmware glitch and will be addressed by Garmin quickly.
