Blank Altimeter

Hi I just retuned my Fenix 5 as I had drop out issues on ANT+ sensors and purchased a Fenix 5x but I've noticed my altimeter is blank?
When I try calibrate it I get an error both on GPS or manually.

Im not enjoying this, first a dodgy Fenix 5, and now the replacement 5x is doing this, any ideas?

How did you try to calibrate? Entered a value manually or used GPS data?

I think its barometer is broken. Does it show any pressure change data on that widget?
Alternatively you can check service menu too by pressing both down and power buttons while switching on the watch.
But I think it's baro is not functioning right.

It does it in gps and manual mode but in gps mode it hangs at the end and looks like it gets a number. Both just bring up ? ? ? for the altimeter reading.
