Help with Notifications

Hi - I'm not able to get any notifications on my F5. I get them fine on my F5S, so I am pretty sure I know how to set them up, but no joy.
Notifications turned on in app, in watch settings. Chose tone and vibrate, neither is happening. Calendar widget will update sometimes, but no notification. Phone call - no notification.
Text - doesn't even show on watch.
Uninstalled / reinstalled app - reset watch.
Synced with G Express. Updated.
Alarm works.
Android 7.1.1 (on both phones, so is working with F5S)

Help please!

I have iphone6 fenix5s same problem can get notifications on text occasionly cant get vib notifications at all.
Returned watch for new one same problem. Maybe prob with ios.
Did you get this resolve if so what did you find out.
very frustrating!

I'm having the same problem with a new Fenix 5 on an iPhone 7. I'm running iOS 11 Public Beta 2, so that may be part of the problem. I've only had the watch for 6 days and notifications worked just fine out of the box. Sometime yesterday morning they stopped working completely. I've verified settings on the watch, and in the Garmin Connect app. I've also done a factory reset on the watch. Still no notifications.

This finally worked for me with the new ios installed i reset my phone under settings reset and all notifications started to work. At least for right now. Seems like problem is with apple phone blocking notifications and not sending vib etc. let me knowif this helps?

sorry Its the apple general reset all settings. This resets all settings.

Resetting settings worked for me as well. However having to setup all my apps' notification and location settings was really a pain. I read on another forum that perhaps just resetting network settings would have worked. If it happens again, I'll try that.
