Screen durability

Hi,

I just switched from a Polar V800 to a Fenix 5. Very happy with the functionality so far, but I've only used it for a few days. I'm sad to say that during these few days I've already managed to get a nasty scratch right in the middle of the screen. Didn't go for the sapphire version, but if it's this prone to scratching it would have been worth it... I had my V800 in constant use for a few years with zero scratches. Have I just been extremely unlucky, or has anyone else found that the Fenix 5 (non-sapphire) is easy to scratch?

I guess there is no fix for this, but if anyone has any ideas I'm all ears.

I bought the regular Fenix 5 and got a few small minor scratches on the glass on day 5, not sure how I got them on it, but the store I bought them from allowed me to return and upgrade it to the sapphire version. Now I have the sapphire one for almost 2 months, beside the metal bezel got a few nicks on it the screen still perfectly fine with ZERO scratch.

I think you?ve just been unlucky. Quite a lot of people use a screen protector - there?s a big thread on them.
