GPS data missing at beginning of activity. Brand new fenix 5S Sapphire

Hello, just got a fenix 5s sapphire. Updated the firmware to 4.10. did a few run, but GPS (or elevation data) are lacking at the beginning of the race. Should I be worried about a defect ? Anyone experienced this ? Impossible to upload the picture of my race (new user...), but 2/3 of elevation data and GPS data are missing at beginning of race, and heart rate, pace is ok. Already sent a mail to support...
Any support greatly appreciated, not sure I should not send it back.

Did you wait for a GPS fix (GPS turns green) before you pressed start?

Well just reset the watch, and just realized you needed to wait to get a GPS fix... I'll try next run, thanks for the tip, it was not obvious for me...:o

GPS satellites drift slightly in their orbits. When the watch is new/hasn't had a GPS fix in a while/you moved a couple of hundred miles since your last fix, it can take longer to calculate this drift and get a precise fix. Now that you have used the watch and got a GPS fix, signal acquisition should be faster in the future.

And if you don't have a fix before you start running, it is more difficult for the watch to get a fix on the move. As noted above, wait for the GPS to go green (a circle around the outside of the dial) before starting your run
