Fenix 5X and city navigator

Hi, just got my Fenix 5X today, ready to replace my Fenix 3

Since the Fenix 5X is City Navigator compatible, i bought and installed it, but i cant seem to find where to enter addresses to navigate to, or does the Fenix 5X not support address navigating?
If so, theres no point in saying the Fenix 5X supports City Navigator

No, unfortunately no address search/enter on the 5x.

Perhaps yoy try the app "sendpoints" from the iq store in combination with your smartphone/internet to send an address to your 5x.

Sad move from Garmin then, and i have wasted my money, really stupid that they say thats its compatible with the 5X but in no way do they mention that you cant use the address search function, therefore a useless product for the 5X in my eyes...

But perhaps it will come in an update, lets hope so...

Just tried Sendpoints, OMG that is awesome, why dont Garmin have that function in the connect app?

Hi guys. bmb....sorry to hear about that, but thank you at the same time. Bought my 5X yesterday and planned to purchase City Navigator tonight. Just as disappointed at Garmin since "navigation" implies the search for an address and not just waypoints or POI. Holding thumbs this will arrive at some stage. Sendpoints not available in South-Africa so that really sucks....

I'm a bit confused, what's the advantage of using city navigator compared to the built in navigation on the 5x ? , thanks
