4.14 Change Log Notes:

Added support for configuring the Controls menu with more than 10 items.
Added support for persisting Heart Rate data on the widget, across a power cycle.
Fixed an issue where the MyDay widget was slow to load, with a large number of activities on device.
Fixed an issue where Move IQ events were being displayed on Garmin Connect, when the feature was turned off on device.
Fixed an issue where the Virtual partner page was being incorrectly added to the activity data page loop while navigating.
Fixed a potential issue where large elevation values were being reported on the summary page for certain activities.
Fixed a potential issue where swim data like lengths and strokes, could be missing from the activity file for long periods of time.
Fixed an issue where the "Distance remaining" data field was displaying incorrect data when navigating to a POI.

Hi guys, I have no recovery time. Hard / soft reset did not help. Software Version 4.14. Any idea?

Hello nikolamakaveli

While this may seem like an obvious question, is it safe to assume you didn't have a recovery time before the update? If, in fact, what you are experiencing is specifically depicted by the link you provided, then the beta 4.14 update would not resolve the issue.

In order to obtain a recovery time number, we only need heart rate data and roughly 1 minute of activity. If you accomplished both of these, then there may be something more going on that we need to look into.

Did you at one time see a recovery time after an activity?
Do none of your activities show a recovery time?
Where are you viewing recovery time: After the activity as a pop up? Within the Training Status Widget?
Can you please send a .FIT activity file to [email][email protected]

When you do send the file, please reference this thread so that we have an appropriate reference.

L60N, can you explain more please? Are you saying that your back light gesture setting is turned to 'ON', but after updating to 4.14b the back light does not turn on during a gesture? If there are more details please share, as this topic can be complicated without details.

Barometer mode doesn't work (also with 4.12): if i set the watch in "barometer mode", altitude should remain steady, but if i climb some stairs, altitude starts to increase...

This update crashed my watch when I turned if off and the rebooted. All I saw was the blue triangle and the loading maps and after a few minutes in went into reboot mode again. The only way out of this was to completely reset my watch - not impressed as all my settings were lost.

Really sorry mate that was a false alarm. It must auto off after dark it was working again in the morning!

Just completed 2 x Circuit training and neither have recorded intensity minutes, where as it had been working from day one...

I reverting back to 4.10 as I believe this beta firmware is corrupt.
