How is one supposed to create a waypoint and send it to the fenix5 for use later? I would like to do some mountain biking in a trail system and have coordinates for major trail markers I would like to set these up as waypoints to help me navigate. How can I do this as from the watch I can make one where I am or project which is not helpful and on the connect apps I see nothing.
How is one supposed to create a waypoint and send it to the fenix5 for use later? How can I do this as from the watch I can make one where I am or project which is not helpful and on the connect apps I see nothing.
You can also save coordinates on the watch for each point (using navigate, coordinates), then create a course from the points you saved (using nav, courses, create new).
A little tedious but useful when in the back country without web, or just simpler then outside apps.
Other option would be to google for a gpx file of the trail you intend to follow, and load it to the F5 as a course.
