Skin rash from silicon Fenix 5 band

I have used fenix 3 for almost two years with silicon band or the original leather band without any issues. I used it 7x24. Since the end of April I have the Fenix 5. I is smaller and it should be more comfortable but I got a skin rash from it under the silicon band on my left wrist. I don't know if anyone has any kind of issues like this. I am a little bit disappointed. I may order the leather band and use this one only when exercising.
  • I got rashes on both wrists.  I have the Fenix 5s plus for several years and the last few months started to develop the rash on my left wrist and I switched to the right wrist and developed one there too.  I am frustrated because now I am wearing one of the tennis wristbands with my watch, which defeat the purpose of measuring my heart rates and all.

  • I had this issue as well, with Garmin only,  before i had many different watches without any issues. In my case when I finished activity, put the watch on my right hand. After some time it was ok. I think it was HR sensor causing me issues.

  • Just saw this thread. I thought I'm the only one. I'm using Fenix 5 and got some problem after wearing this watch for one and a half year.
