Aftermarket charging "plate" - anyone found anything similar?

Hi,
I recall that for Fenix3 there where some after-market charging cables that were detachable from the plate itself.

Did any of you came across any Chinese or other charging plate for F5X? I wouldn't care if cable is fixed or not but would instantly buy anything that allows charging the watch while still wearing it.

Since all new garmins sport the same charging cable and it's stupid connection, maybe someone came across a charging plate?
I really hope there will eventually be one - original or aftermarket - doesn't matter, as long as it makes charging while wearing posssible

I suppose you are referring to a charging cradle when speaking of a charging plate. I was sure that given the demand for one of those it would be a sure thing some Chinese manufacturer would manufacture a third party one for sure. But strangely we have seen no such thing yet and the fenix 5 have now been out for 7 months or so. This is strange I think...:eek:

Robert, there is nothing new with what garmin did in Descent Mk1 - they simply reverted back to what we had in Fenix 3 (that is a great solution, dropped in F5 line)

The descent looks like it uses a very similar watch case to the 5x so I think it may well fit , looking at the pictures of the watch back and case on the garmin site it looks the same as my 5x

The F5x just have a charging cable,
You can buy it on aliexpress for less than 4$
