How to reinstall missing Garmin App?

My Hike app that I used frequently is missing. I can't add it as a new app, there's no option. How do I get it back?

I think you can do it in Garmin Express under Manage Apps.

Someone in the german forum had the same problem.

I think what solved it, was another user sending him the file of the hike app to copy it directly to the watch. Do you maybe have an older backup of your apps?

Not sure if I have a backcup. Did some more research and it seems a factory reset is the only other way so I just did that.

I am having the same issue with the lap swimming app on the Fenix 5x. I do not have a back up and really don't want to reset. Can someone please help me out by sending the Swim app to me. Many thanks in advance!
