Is it like an eÌnk Display that only uses power to change its state or is it better to keep as much as possible off, like using a watchface with mostly white background to get most out of the battery?
I've looked for the same info inc. Battery capacity but can't find anything on the web.
All I can tell you is I have backlight set to 4 sec, gestures on, smart notifications on for phone calls and text messages. I use the elliptical daily for about 30 min. So no GPS. And I m using a watch face that's black background (GMT 4 from store) and getting 18-20 days out of the battery. That's incredible. Fenix 5
changing state is where power is used. CIQ watchfaces only update the entire screen only once a minute at most times due to this. With the new 1hz feature, only small areas of the screen can be updated every second and requires a "smarter" display than is available on things like the va-hr and 735
