Training Status - Watch and App mismatch

The training status on my watch and the app are not the same anymore.
I havent seen this issue before....Unless this got introduced in yesterday's app update.

App update (yesterday) timing coincided with 7d 'wait period' after my watch reset last week. Hence for the past one week I had no status on the watch or the app. However my watch began to show status since Tuesday and it has changed twice. The app however is stuck on unproductive from prior to the watch reset/chest strap change on June 4.

Anyone else having the mismatch issue?

    I found the issue.
    Log into Garmin Connect online.

    Go to Reports->Training Status

    You will see the charts show on the main page.

    If you scrolled to the bottom of the page, there is drop down that allows the selection of the activity tracker. This does not matter if you have only had one device. But if you have had to change your device, example, change from the standard watch to sapphire edition, or RMA a device for a replacement, this will be important because you will see more than one device in that drop down.

    I found an older device and the current one in that list. Once I selected the correct device, the charts matched the device.
    Once this was done, the phone app showed the correct status as well.

    Note - this was necessary despite the fact my current device has been chosen to be the my primary activity tracker on Garmin Express as well as in the phone app.
