My Watch Watchface Crashed, Deleting and Reloading Doesn't Help

Has anyone had any luck getting My Watch to reload after recent crashes? I noticed a couple of days ago that my heartrate graph had disappeared. Was waiting to reload during the next charge, but then it crashed entirely. When I deleted and reloaded it, it still would not work.

    Wish saules

Do you mean the 4.12 Beta?

That is the new one, yes.

Unfortunately for me with a 5X running 4.12 beta, MYWatch is still crashing when displaying sun data. Actually it's much worse on the new beta because now anytime one uses the map or updates the time using GPS, the sun data automatically starts on the WF leading to a quick crash. Prior to this update, you could use the GPS as long as you didn't change to another watch face and return. That gave us days of operation, just with no sun data. Now we can't use GPS at all with this watch face. BUMMER! I was hoping for progress and instead we go backwards. Of course the beta will help other watch faces that are still being updated.

That's weird. Mine is still going, not one single crash since I updated to the beta last night. I've updated the sunrise/set info and have had tons of notifications come through which before always triggered a crash. I'm a happy camper, at the moment anyway, as it seems the dev has quit working on this face.

Mine worked fine for a while with 4.12, but when I tested changing watch faces it immediately crashed.
  • Removing the My Watch watch face using the Connect Mobile app and then reinstalling it made the watch face appear again after crashing.

As a test I loaded up Gearmin, which had been very stable in it's last release on 4.10. In a short time, all it's settings reverted to the default, so it would appear the new beta is causing more WF issues than it solves.

That's interesting. Did you notice that with the new beta 4.12, the sun data updates as soon as you get a GPS lock? Previously for this WF anyway, you had to get a GPS lock, then open a different watch face, then reopen the MyWatch face before the sun data would update. Now it updates immediately after GPS lock.

If you wouldn't mind, and as a test, get a GPS lock, then close the screen back to the watch face. Is the sun data immediately displayed? Next, see if the WF crashes in a similar fashion to how it behaved with the previous build, 4.10.
The issue with the 4.12 update is that you can't avoid updating the sun data (thus setting the WF up for a pending crash) because since the update, the sun data updates instantly upon GPS lock. On 4.10, we could use the watch face without the sun data and avoid a crash. Now we can't.

So you were running MyWatch, then switched to another WF, then switched back and a crash occurred?

I did notice that actually, mines does the same thing.

Also, don't know if it makes a difference, but i uninstalled the watch face before updating the firmware, then reinstalled afterwards.
