Version 4.10 zero distance and could not save activity

On Sunday I did a 5 mile run on version 4.10 and everything was ok.

Today I cycled to work and ran back (between 5 and 6 miles dependent on route)

On both cycle and run everything from the applicable connected sensors was displaying ok map/pace/speed/cadence/tempe but the distance travelled just stayed at 0.00.

When I came to save the activity it was just stuck on saving. I forced a shutdown and there was no sign of the activity in the history after a restart.

I have reported this to the beta team even though this is production software.

Has anybody else experienced this and if so is there a solution

Didn't experience anything like this.
Mine just works well!

SAWMILL Except For

I did a factory reset and all seems well again but I sent a zipped up copy of the garmin folder (without the maps) to the beta team in case they can use that to replicate and potentially solve the problem. I'm guessing it it something that occurs after the watch has been running for a long period of time or has accumulated a significant amount of data (number of activities?) but it is only a guess.
