I have tried to test the navigation feature because I plan on using it on unknown trails (and my own internal compass came DOA at birth).
I created a small route on Gpsies and added a few WPs. I have tried to download different kinds of files like gpx, fit, tcx and copy them to the Newfolders directory, sometimes these courses get processed and loaded (selectable from navigation menu) other times they aren't.
When the file is parsed correctly, I get notifications (although sometimes in wrong places - thanks crappy gps), in bottom of screen, the problem is that I don't get the direction text as I entered it on GPSies, say "Right on 2nd str" instead just a number like 33 or 40 or such, sometimes even empty screen.
Does anyone have experience with this feature and can tell me what am I doing wrong? Am I using wrong file format, maybe that site isn't providing it in correct format? It is pretty important to be able to edit course files and add WP notifications to them as this summer I want to try some trail running, and as a beginner without these I would get lost often, everywhere.
