List of 1Hz Watchfaces

Hi,

I have a FENIX 5x incoming and one thing I need in my day to day work is a constant second hand (say one needs 30 or 60s to do a pulse, etc.). To not have it is ridiculous...I'll accept lost battery life.

Could everyone post up to this thread a list of watch faces that allow 1hz second hands (the second hand doesn't go away)? Ideally Garmin would eventually make this an option at any time for all of these....pretty please Mr. and Ms. Garmin provide this trivially/automagically.

(as a bonus request: anyone know of a watch face that allows a timezone that is a 1/2 hour offset timezone....say New Delhi to New York....10.5 hours.....would be amazing to have a second full time shown in the many "get" watch faces.....

Thank you in advance. I don't know of any yet (GMT4 says he is testing it in the app description for example).

List of 1Hz Fenix watch faces (means second hand does not got away after 8 seconds):

1. (the one that comes with the 5x as of June 16th, 2017 software)
2. UTC Titanium
3.
4.
5.
6.
7.
8.
9.

  • I would just be happy with a watch face that doesn't disappear daily requiring a re-installation.

    ^^^ +1!
  • I have quite a number in the app store doing 1hz. (link in my sig)

Simple Big, Simple Watch, Simple Heart, Simple Activity, Simple 3. A number of options based on what you want to see in addition to time.

The "Big Digital" watch face supports a second time zone with 1/4 hour offsets, but doesn't (yet) support 1 Hz seconds.

Thanks. My leaning is toward classic analog watches....but these options are nice.

I very much want the 1Hz (seconds don't go away) option...I'll give up battery life. :)

I think the Garmin standard watch faces now retain the second hand without impacting battery life.

As for your pulse, that's pretty much the point of having 24/7 optical heart rate monitoring. One button press will give access to the HR widget.
  • 1hz should have little or no impact on battery life. But the coding for analog faces is more complex than digital ones.

The SDK release that allowed uploading watch faces with 1hz to the store just came out last Friday, but I know of a couple of analog WFs with 1hz in the store right now, but there will be more in the next week.

If you find a CIQ watchface you like, use "contact developer" for it, and ask the developer when they plan to support 1hz.

Thank you. I just hope to have the second hand keep going.... And, took your advice - have to compliment the developers, contacted 2 and both replied super quickly.

(I believe in supporting developers - thank you to all of you out there for such cool products)
