Map preview

Hi all
When I import a course onto the 5x and go into map preview all I get is a load of hash marks no map or preview
I have down a lot of different routs and sent them to the watch through Wikiloc and route planner / dynimac watch same result every time any help would be great

Ok so I created about 10 courses in basecamp and garmin connect and they worked fine no problem. So I guess it is a problem with the third party apps I was using.
I haven't got a chance to try IQMapreceiver yet that schlupp suggested will try it tonight

Sadly basecamp is pretty much useless if you find yourself away from your computer and want to plan a route for a quick run. That's where route planner is so great.

Yes that is a problem I have an iPhone and was trying to use route planner but for some reason it won't work can't figure out how it will work for some 5x and not for some others 5x
I was on to the developer of route planner and he said I am not the only one with this problem he thinks it is a bug with the 5x .
it is a bit of a pain

I use route planner, and just don't do the preview. Plan route, fire up route planner on the 5x, download route, start activity, do navigation. The route loads onto the 5x just fine, even if the preview is messed up.
