Spontaneous Restarts

I'm experiencing spontaneous restarts with my Fenix 5X for the last few firmware releases (including the betas). Sometimes it happens during an activity and sometimes just in watch mode. I've reported this to Garmin, but they just say that a file is corrupt or fragmented and to delete my Workouts and/or Activity folders. I've had similar experiences when I first got my 735XT and Garmin told me to do the same with that watch too. However after a few firmware updates, I stopped experiencing the spontaneous restarts with the 735XT.

Below is from my err_log.txt file.

  • If there is a little dmp file where that text file is located. Garmin would be able to match is to the code symbols and resolve that stack properly. That would show them the code line that is crashing.

I didn't see a dmp file where the err_log.txt file is located.
  • got the same problem with my forerunner 935 and the error number is the same. did you ever find out what the error was?
