Can someone please tell me how to to prevent the Fenix 5s from syncing every time it's connected to Garmin Express? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, in case I missed some checkbox the first time, no joy. I looked through all the settings on Garmin Connect, and didn't find anything helpful.
Thank you, I did have those boxes checked, but they seem only to control whether Garmin Express is launched at startup, and when a device is connected.
What I'm wondering, is whether it's possible to connect my watch, e.g. in order to change configuration on a downloaded watch face, but not send all my data up to Garmin's server.

Is this possible, or is it all-or-nothing?
I just change my settings of 3rd party watchfaces from from the watch. Or from the App on the phone. I never plug my watch into my PC
