The bug with distance in the "remaining distance" data field is still there. That hasn't been fixed for more than 5beta fw updates and a final fw update- that really sucks! I want to see the real distance to destination in the data field instead of only the direct line distance ("as the crow flows...").
Have you contacted Garmin directly? I suggest you email the beta team at the address provided in the beta thread. I did and they said they'd look into the distance remaining bug. I also provided screenshots.
I got an email response saying that I needed to change my routing from Use Map to follow Course. Unfortunately that didn't fix it so they said they'd create a bug report.
Anyway, it helps if you email the beta team. I hope this gets resolved soon because it's kind of lame when hiking to have incorrect distances.
