Face it trouble?

Hi,
It seems that i have problem with all my watchface from face it.
It install ok and works for few hours but after quite some time, it switch to regular base Garmin watchface. When i try to put it back, i got an IQ logo instead of watchface and can't put it back.
If i try to go in faceit once again, it doesn't change anything. And when i try to uninstall the watchface, it failed.
Some on has that too?
Same behavior on 4.02 beta and previous firmware.

    So, maybe a CIQ version bug.

    I just synced the watch with my laptop and have the same problem. No watchface from CIQ is working anymore. I uninstalled them and reinstalled, reboot the watch but I still have the CIQ logo with an exclamation mark instead of the CIQ faces...

    This really sucks. Any idea ?

    Try power cycling your watch, with a "hard power off" (hold the light button until the watch turns itself off). You didn't mention what firmware you are running, but if it's older, you may want to use the beta.

    Yes, I tried that several times. I'm running the 3.30. I will try to install the beta tomorrow then but it's strange as everything was running smoothly. I used mostly the watchface GMT4 which is great by the way.
  • Try switching to a native WF and then doing the hard power off, so when it comes back up, no CIQ watchface is running. Then select a CIQ watchface other than the one you normally use.

    There was a case a while back, (I can't recall what version of FW), where a CIQ watchface would crash, and it messed up something for any other CIQ watchface run after that. So try a WF which isn't your normal one and see if that helps.

    Actually other faces seem to work after I reinstalled them. But the GMT4 is discarded whenever I change the options. :mad:

    Some other apps doesn't seem to work either. Connecting to the computer seems to be always tricky.

    Use "Contact Developer" for it in the store. There's a known thing with apps crashing you change settings from a phone (it's a bug with Garmin Connect Mobile" on the phone that's been there for some time), but there is a very simple way avoid the crash that's detailed in the "New Developer FAQ" in the CIQ developer forum. It could be that -

    The developer released a new version today and it is working now.

    Cheers! By the way, the WF GMT 4 is great if you like analog faces and it allows a nice degree of customization.

    What i did is what you described... I've removed the Face-it app by Garmin connect on my computer.
    Once that was done, i've resend my watch face from Face-It and it works back.
    At least, the second time, it work for few hours... !!!!
    I did the same procedure an other time and now, i have the same face-it watch face running since 3 days...
    Nothing else change... who knows what's happening!!!!

    Now, my principal concern is about the resetting of my wake up alarm.
    Every night, i go in my alarm setting, i change the Sound to be "Vibration" only, but everytime in the morning, it buzz and sound because the Sound option setting has been overwrite to "Tone and Vib.".
    Someone know hot to change that?
