Wrist Heart Rate issue

If I am walking/hiking and I am going a steady grade (3-5%) uphill,
the Heart-Rate measurement jumps steadily 40-50 BPMs too high.
If I stop walking or the grade is near 0% the measurement is right all the time.
I have a fenix3HR, which does not have this bug.
I check the measurement with both watches wearing and in addition a heart-rate belt.
The fenix5x is the one which can’t measure the right value at this time.

Anybody has noticed the same?

Poor optical heart rate measurement is normally down to poor placement and positioning, with movement of the watch allowing excessive light to enter the OHR sensor. The watch band should be snug, and positioned away from the wrist bone. Sometimes trying the other wrist can also help.

edge 1000 with HR-Belt.

And if you look at the graphs, you can totally see, that there are issues with the whr of the fenix5x.

I am also in direct conntact with garmin, to analyze the problems with the whr.
I did allready exchanged four watches. All have the same problems.

The Fenix 3HR does not have this problem.
I also did change the wrist left/right.

Hello,

another update on this issue.

Today i recorded a Session, where i done "housework"

as you can see the Fenix5X measuring is way too high.

Everytime i am in motion, it is way too high, if i am standing/sitting still it comes down to the fenix3hr measuring.

That is big disappointing, because it is a step backwards instead of the fenix 3HR.
