Just got my 5x :). As the title said I thought that the apps were sort of arranged like a clock format that rotated around. Did I imagine this or is there a setting somewhere to enable that?
If you hold down the power button for a few seconds you'll get to the quick start menu you're referring to, but its not really for apps. The options are more like wifi, phone, sleep mode, etc
