distance stays zero!

Hi, when I am on "run" activity' the "distance" field stays zero!
The GPS in on and green and I can see the pace and the map is showing the exact location but the distance is zero.
Aslo at the "garmin connect" after syncing the activity the distance is zero!
Can you help?

Is the timer running the whole time? When you sync to Garmin Connect and it shows 0 distance, does it show the correct elapsed time for the activity?

Delete activity from Garmin Connect. Connect watch using USB and manually upload it to GC from the GARMIN/ACTIVITY folder. Now see how it looks.
