Cannot 'power off' 5x or see from USB v3.30 firmware

Anyone experienced this or, better still, have a solution? If I long press the Light button, I cannot get into the shortcut to power off the device. I also cannot connect to it using a Mac or PC via USB.
Happened to me as well after connecting to GE, I had to reboot the watch (Hold Light Button for 30+ seconds) to get out of this mode. Works fine since then.
