fenix 5 serial number list and connectivity issues

EDIT: Just an update, it's becoming clear that we need more serial number info than just the first 3 digits, as these number only indicate the model, not the batch. Please provide additional serial number info.

536 = f5 slate with black band
537 = f5 silver with blue band
538 = f5 slate with yellow band
53A = f5 Sapphire
53B = f5 Sapphire slate grey with metal band53C = f5 Sapphire slate grey with metal band
568 = f5S
56D = f5S

    Specify attached devices

    Dear all,

    I've started using my F5 just recently, too, and I'll try to provide you with my experience using the various devices attached. But, please, could you also specify which devices did you exactly attach to your watch. I don't think that it's thoroughly useful if you just say that you're having connection problems without providing information on the specific name of the device attached.

    #20 update: Bluetooth works fine with ASUS ZenFone Live ZB501KL, Xiaomi Redmi 4 Prime still resets connections.


    And how about the range?

    I guess mine is most like Line #40, S/N/ 539000... (F5 Sapphire, Black Band), except I'm on the newest software version (4.10) and I'm on Android (Nexus 6), not iPhone
    No issues whatsoever.

    P.S. You forgot the 539 S/N prefix in the OP

    P.P.S. There's a lot more information under Settings > About that may be important (firmware versions for GPS, Wi-Fi, BLE/ANT, etc.)

    P.P.P.S. This whole thing is probably pointless. You'll never be able to glean any meaningful information from all this data, as there are too many permutations of device version, software/firmware versions, region, etc. combined with the inherent subjectivity of all of the issues being reported and the very limited number of reports vs entire user base.

    iPhone 7 & Fenix 5

    BT range is pretty bad with my iPhone 7. A few meters where my old 235 was still connected in any room.
    This has been bad with every released Firmware.
    Everything else is fine.

    Nothing negative to report...been using the Fenix 5 for 2-3 weeks now daily with different activities.
    A big improvement over my Fenix 3 (not HR)
