I got the same kind of thing when 4.42 for the f5x came out. It needs to propagate to different servers.. Try back in a bit

Cautiously hopeful that the misc bug fixes and improvements have something to do with connectivity. Just been out for a 25 mile ride and the alert for disconnection to my phone didn't go off once. My bt speed sensor seemed a lot more stable too.

Edit - although it did just lose connection when it was less than a metre away so we shall see

I had a weird issue yesterday trying to navigate straight back to the start using the SUP App (using 3.42), a corrupted screen with 4 time indicators with lines through them appeared. I tried again using trackback, which worked as expected. I will test if this bug is fixed with 3.44 tomorrow.

Amazing....the BT range is even WORSE now! Not even 5ft from my phone and it disconnects! I could have been at least a room away (about 10 ft without obstructions) before I would disconnects. Now?

I give up, it goes back on Monday, I ordered a m430. That'll tide me over till Polar comes out with a v800 replacement. I have been patient with this company for nearly two years now. Beta tested ad-nauseam, tried to see the other side of the story, tried to help others. This is just the final straw. The live release won't be any better, the beta's afterwards won't fix things. This is a sham. You lost a customer Garmin.

Updated to 3.44 - F5 Sapphire

Not sure if this is normal or not but, out hiking today (using Garmin Hiking App) and the Aerobic FE metric went up to 2.0 exactly, a bit jumpy, one minute it was 1, then 1.9 and stopped bang on 2.0 even though I continued on for 30-40 mins at zone 4, couple hundred metres of ascent. Is there a cap on Aerobic metric for the hiking app?!? I'll have to test this again to see if I can get it to roll over 2.0

Edit.

Just to say, no problems with Ant+ with Garmin chest strap and GPS performed very well. Matched that of my Sony Xperia Z3 that has always been good (within about 1-2 metres).

I just tested exactly the same thing. Fenix 5 + Stages Gen2. Same result and yes about 30cm and the signal in gone... Yes its, bad, bad, bad...
