Training Load / Recovery Time Biking

Hej all,

i have minor problem with the Training Load / Recovery Times i get when cycling with the F5s. for my feeling they are too low. yesterday i went for 120k on the roadbike with roughly 145 HR on average, still the watch says only 22h of recovery and when i check the training load it pretty low (too low).

in comparison, last week i went for a slow jog with some kids from my club 43min, 132 avg HR and i get a recoverytime of 17h.
in another running session (1h, 151 HR avg) i get a recoverytime of 46h.

any suggestions?

I noticed the same thing. I kinda assumed that it allows more time to recover from the impact of running, versus a low-impact activity like cycling.

I also noticed that the training load seemed to increase as the watch accumulated a few weeks usage data. You may also want to look at cycling versus running V02Max figures.
