F5 - using widgets while recording activity

Does anyone know if/how widgets can be used while recording an activity? e.g. using the HR, stopwatch, and music widgets while recording a run.

Thanks in advance, and apologies if this is a noob question!
  • The default hot key for widgets is a long press of the down key. That will take you to the widget loop while you are in an activity (loop includes the active watchface) You can change the hotkey assignments in settings on the watch if you prefer something else to get you there.

Agree with the previous poster re accessing the widgets.

For something like HR, I would be tempted to customize the activity display to include the HR field (many include this as the default) rather than accessing the widget. Lap timer fields may also fill some of the needs you may want a stopwatch for. There

Unless you're swimming... in which case accessing HR from the widget is the only way.
