Has anyone used the Live Tracking Auto mode?

Is it stable, no dropouts ?

On Auto Mode, does it automatically send the recipient an email every time a start a new activity?

To send the email to recipients it's not a problem, to get the live tracking working that's an other story.

Since March 26 i had only 2 livetrack working and i use it almost daily!!! Cyclingm, with the phone in my backpocket it NEVER give a trace to recipients , it says actvity completed at the end with the right mileage, speed average etc.. but zero points on the map.

Running, that's the same except if i have my phone on the same arm as my watch... you got it this d**n bluetooth range issue which is more than ridiculous.

Not sure if the garmin folks train with the phone in their hand (and on the same side as their watch).

I wait for one more FW update and then sell it if not working. My F3 has no issue ...

Is it the Auto mode that messes things up?
If you activate it to start manually, will it be more stable?

No, that's simply the bluetooth which is not stable on F5 , it loose the connection when out of range, which is very limited on F5. Other side of your body on in your backpocket and it fails to connect.
