Short screen flickering happening when switching between views

Hi everyone!

Anyone else experiencing when switching from watch face view or widget view to whatever view which is white background, short flickering can be noticed, takes a fraction of a second and then stays away. This is not the case when switching in settings view back and forth (eg. long press up/menu button and then switching within views inside that). I have asked the same from the Beta team.

Otherwise not experiencing screen flickering which has been described in other threads.

Thanks for your comments on this.

I see it now and then but my guess was that perhaps the highpower vs lowpower refresh rates are different and sometimes when you hit a button it doesn't quite get into highpower mode quick enough so you see the slow refresh rate.

For me usually it does it the first time I hit a button and the watch has to kinda wake up, turn on the backlight, change power mode maybe? and then play an animation and I see a little flickering; but then if I hit a button again it will be nice and smooth.

I could be totally wrong obviously but thats kinda how it feels to me.

    EDIT:

Thinking about it; I only see it when I first hit a button to scroll a page when recording an activity. Since I don't usually run light backgrounds but the activity pages do have light backgrounds. It doing other work (recording an activity) at the time may also play into why the first click/scroll tends to flicker but subsequent scrolling seems fine?

Yes subsequent scrolling is ok within that view or widget.

I have noticed this all happening even if the backlight has been switched off. It is not happening when you are in the "real menu" going back and forth, ie. scrolling. But as you described; when about to record an activity (moving from watch face to activity view, ie. switching), you can see a short flickering or refreshing slower. This is also the case when you have whatever widget open, from example, going from 4h heart rate view to 7 days avg heart rate view.

Latest Beta version (3.41) seem to have solved this issue today.

EDIT: the issue came back after a while. so Beta version did not solve this after all.
