First of all: I love the Fenix 5s. Great design, small profile, and a lot of functions.
I use the 5s for running. Before the Fenix I had the Vivoactive HR and the Forerunner 735 (both with a plastic casing). I understand, that acquiring a GPS signal takes a little longer on the Fenix 5s. But it's much more faster and first I was very glad about this. But the accuracy is especially at the beginning after the GPS fix very very poor. So poor, that my pace is very different to the real value. Garmin please don't fix GPS until it has a good signal, otherwise it's useless.
The second problem: during running the Fenix is changing my pace quite strong, but I run nearly the same pace. I think it's due to a weaker GPS signal. Why is this? It happens too when there are not buildings around (also no electric wires).
Has anyone experienced similar problems?
