Are the ones with the segments with smart-recording? They seem ok overall, but the segments you highlighted are quite bad indeed... But I'm actually amazed by how well the track follows the street in the rest of the route...

The other one looks like 1-sec recording to me, overall pretty ok I think but the 'scribbly' tracks are the thing which annoyed me with the fenix5 as well. As if signal is unstable or something (which could cause things like you see in the segments when the environment is tougher for gps reception)

I have been having issues the past week as well. This is what the activity for my 18 mile run looked like:

Here is a trail comparison with 5x vs 920xt vs iPhone 7 Strava app. All look damn good. GLONASS and 1 sec recording and 3D speed/distance on.

I am also not impressed. My post-run bike ride:

    GPS + Glonass @ 1s
    F5X FW v3.30
Speed and Cadence sensors (forgot the HRM-Tri after the run)

    https://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/1739778528#

I never saw such issues with F3HR. I have Strava segments on and it started trying to navigate me to the segments so it looks like it took me off the paths and trails stuck me on to the road (when I wasn't flying over the neighborhoods).

The actual track should have been: https://goo.gl/GcuYKZ

Turn off LOCK ON ROADS in your bike settings-Maps-configuration....this should fix that mess...

The bike app(s) are set to use System Setting [on] and the system setting for Maps has this option off.

Are you saying I need to switch off use System Setting and ensure that the bike app lock on road is off? If so, this is definitely a bug in how the FW handles the use System Setting.

    Thanks,
    KS

Yes. Turn off USE SYSTEM SETTINGS and then you have to deselect LOR in the Bike App. Definitely a bug!
