Is there a setting to choose speed sensor to read speed measurements as it feels like it's somehow switched to gps as it's quite laggy? I can't find it on the watch or in the manual.

AFAIK, it should take sensor speed automatically if available. Are u sure the speed sensor is paired and connected before you press the start button?

Yeah its definitely paired and connected. Its a combined speed and cadence sensor. I guess I could check its working by disabling gps
Edit, just checked and it does register speed so maybe I'm just imagining it. Or maybe the lezyne sensor just is laggy. The garmin one was better I think but I sold that when I tried a Suunto Spartan Ultra for a bit
