Golf app

Hi garmin,

I am runner and a golf player (yes it exists). Before the Fenix 5X I used a garmin S20 as a golf watch. Fenix 5X is pretty good but, in my opinion, its missing :
- A signal (vibration or whatever) that indicates the swing is recoreded
- the club selection / validation after a swing. It will be very great to be able to validate the club used as it is possible on the S20.

With those 2 features, Fenix 5X will be more awesome.

I agree. I just upgraded from the fenix 3hr to the 5x because I thought the 5x had the full golf features that golf specific watches have. A lot disappointed. No shot mapping or put counting?? What gives?? Why does a $200 watch have more features than a $700 watch?

Found the problem. "Stat tracking" under the "golf app" settings was disabled. Now all features are working properly and I no longer have to manually initiate scoring.
