I was really happy with v 3.30 that GearMin worked as it should, but this lasted only one day.
Now its gone and the default Watchface 5x came shipped with is displayed.
I was helping the chap who makes GearMin test the beta firmware and some tweaks he was doing to see if he could stop it losing settings yesterday.
It seems the firmware update has indeed fixed it crashing but it still has the issue of the settings reverting back to defaults at random times so he was going to try contacting someone from the Garmin SDK team to seek some help sorting it.
GearMin has an above-average amount of customisation; so as such saves a lot of settings, which seems to be making it hard to track down the problem.
I think he updated it again today but I'm yet to try it.
@JAMES.LEE.ALLEN Have you tried ActiFace to see if the problem exists there too? I asked Petr, and a few other developers a while back, and they'd not seen anything or heard of anything from users like you describe.
Based on what you see, it would be a way to provide info to the GearMin guy, the Garmin CIQ folks, as well as other developers. It might help to narrow it down
That way he can get help, compare notes with other developers, and get a ticket opened if need.
Update and questions: When do you see the problem? When you are changing settings? if so, with iOS, Android, or GE and their versions? If not, is it when you return to the WF after doing something else? Does turning the watch off and back on restore the settings?
