Cirrus Blue watchband pic. Seems a little more neon than advertised

I expected something a little more muted, milky blue but it's bright. Makes it look like a kid's watch. Just wanted to share a pic.

I took the attached picture and put it in a photo editor to pull out a sample click of color differences:

TBH It looks about how I would expect from the Garmin store pictures - Similar to the blue on the 920xt.

The colors are much brighter on the Garmin website than in real life. When I got my red one from Amazon, I first thought I got a fake. I had to actually see a comparison at a store and sure enough it was the real deal, just brighter orangey . I have gotten used to it and get lots of compliments on the strap. Everyone thinks it's a new watch every time I change my straps. I have black, Red, and a couple of Nato Straps and soon to get the Amp Yellow. It is pretty cool to be able to change quick for whatever the mood is..

Incase anyone is looking for a good deal, this place has them for $42 no tax , no shipping cost.

  • Sry, but you compare colors between a picture created on a pc and another grabbed by a camera - absolutely bad idea... why do you think in 99,99% of all internet shops use the tiny information "colors can slightly difference compared to the original colors"...

    You got differences because of:
    - white balance settings in your camera
    - color range of camera sensor

    - white balance settings of your monitor
    - color range of your monitor
    - viewing angles (depend on used panel type)
  • The pin looks like plastic.. It is not metal?

The watch and box were right next to each other, taken in the same image on the same camera. photography jargon is irrelevant

I think it's powder coated aluminum or something. It isn't ferromagnetic. I put a magnet on it and it didn't stick but the clasp seems to have a grain similar to the bezel of the watchface. I think it's whatever the watch bezel is made of.
