Altimeter

I have a problem with altimeter. Yesterday, during swimming in the pool it showed me -331 meters, I live at 36. Few days ago during normal activity it showed me also different altitude. I tried to manual configure but yesterday it showed what I wrote above.

That's pretty normal. Pressure below the water level is higher than it the atmosphere => you have got "lower altitude" reading. It means, pressure sensor is OK, just ignore the values during your swimming. :D Furthermore, you have to calibrate the altitude from time to time anyway due to changing weather (because of changes in the atmospheric pressure).

Just informed beta team about this... same thing happen to me after saving a pool swim activity: altimeter goes crazy, sometimes +xxx meters sometimes -xxx meters.

I have checked my altitude and also auto calibrated it but it never returns to the manually calibrated height that I've inputted. It's atleast 70ft out from my calibrated height which then affects the stairs climbed and that's in the same spot.

Could I have a faulty unit

Auto calibration actually means that your altitude is calibrated automatically to the GPS data when available. But as we know, GPS (especially on vertical coordinate) is sometimes not quite accurate. Hence, it is good idea to have auto calibration on, but when you see a difference for your current location (and you know the exact altitude) - just calibrate it also manually. If you still see big differences in measured altitude (rapid changes up/down) while being at the same location and the weather is not changing at all (e.g. during stable anticyclonic situation) - than you probably have faulty sensor.
