Training load says optimal and v02 max superior, however, my training status is unproductive. Does anyone know why that would be? I've had some poor wrist based hrm results and wonder if that is the culprit.
I've had similar results. It's seems to me that if you do an activity that calculates your VO2 max to be slightly lower that previous it drops you into unproductive. The only way I've found to get out of it is to do another activity that increases your VO2 max again.
Non Productive means that your training load is to low...
Not necessarily. I've hit it hard the last couple of days (yesterday's bike ride was meant to be an easy recovery ride but I got a bit carried away). My training load is showing as Non Productive, and in Garmin Connect the explanatory text says "Your training load is at a good level, but your fitness is decreasing. Your body may be struggling to recover, so be sure to pay attention to your overall health including stress, nutrition and rest."
